To further enhance & maintain the look of your Adonis Sterling jewellery, made from 925 Sterling Silver, the following steps are advised:
Sterling Silver naturally tarnishes over time as the 7.5% of the copper reacts to the air. Avoid contact with all liquids and chemicals, such as perfume, sea water, mayonnaise, ammonia, chlorinated pool water, hair spray and sweat. Constant contact with these substances will increase the rate at which tarnishing occurs.
Always protect your jewellery from sharp blows, scratching, chemicals, direct sunlight and heat/cold, especially humid conditions.
While storing your Adonis jewellery, make sure it is completely dry, we advise you to keep it in the Adonis Sterling satin dust bag provided in the box with every order. This will protect it from scratches as well as slow down the tarnishing process. Try to keep the jewellery pieces apart so they don't rub against the other.
To further reduce the tarnishing effect, if possible, store your silver jewellery in plastic zip lock bags to avoid contact with the air.
